Working Smarter: Promotional Links
We know what you want: access to the latest promotions, the timeliest offers – essentially,
"the good stuff." Well, the CJ Account Manager™ offers a special link attribute to help you do
just that – Promotional Link.
Advertisers can flag links as "Promotional" with one of these attributes:
- Coupon
- Sweepstakes
- Product
- Sale/Discount
- Free Shipping
- Logo
Once those links are flagged you have a multitude of tools for finding and using them:
Run a report
From the "Get Links" tab, access the Additional Search Options. Select "All" from the
Promotion dropdown and "My Advertisers" from the Relationship Status dropdown. Click
"Find" to run the report. The results will display all promotions from advertisers
with whom you have a current relationship.
Check out the Get Links tab
Within the "Get Links" tab there is a section called "Advertisers with Promotions"
and it lists all advertisers with promotional links, sorted by the highest EPC.
Remember, this will list ALL advertisers, not just the ones to whose program you
are joined.
Request the Promotional Link Data Transfer
If you find that you're frequently running the report discussed above, a more
convenient way to stay informed is through Commission Junction's promotional
link data feed. You'll receive the information on a regular basis (you can
choose the frequency) and in the file format of your choice. The report
includes HTML links that are populated with your CJ PID for promotions from
your current advertisers. The initial feed includes all available promotional
links in the network, and subsequent feeds can continue providing all
available links or can be limited to the links that were added or modified
since the previous feed. For more information about requesting Promotional
Link Data Transfer, please access the
help topic.
Using these few simple tools can help you keep your content as fresh as possible
and continue to provide your Web visitors with nothing but "the good stuff."
